Our Strategy -- Nanotech BC's Business Plan
The British Columbia Nanotechnology Alliance has been created as a not-for-profit organization to promote and develop nanotechnology in British Columbia. This Plan was developed on the basis of the strategy set out in a report prepared for Industry Canada entitled A Strategy for Developing Industrial Nanotechnology in British Columbia, February 28, 2006 (the Strategy). A key recommendation within the Strategy was to form an organization, referred to herein as Nanotech BC. The mission and goals of Nanotech BC are to position BC within an evolving national strategy and to encourage nanotech related provincial economic development.
